A CPD session - 8 Basic steps to completing a project

There are eight basic steps to completing a successful construction project.

Lukasz Kisiel, a member of the Chartered Institute of Building, brings his experience of running Kisiel Group to present a CPD session at London Build exhibition held at Olympia on 25 October 2017.

His presentation provided an insight to the project life cycle as defined in the Code of Practice for Project Management for Construction and Development (by The Chartered Institute of Building).

Explaining how to deliver a project, Lukasz elaborated on the following:

  • Step 1 – Inception
  • Step 2 – Feasibility
  • Step 3 – Strategy
  • Step 4 – Pre-Construction
  • Step 5 – Construction
  • Step 6 – Testing and Commissioning
  • Step 7 – Completion, Handover and Occupation
  • Step 8 – Post-completion.
